  • What should I wear?
    The wedding is semi-formal, so we encourage you to wear cocktail attire. However, please do not feel as though you need to buy a new outfit! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
  • What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

  • Is there an after party?
    After the reception wraps up at 9:30PM, the pub at Mad River Barn will open for drinks afterwards. Drinks will not be provided at the after party but you are more than welcome to purchase any beverages to round off the night!
  • Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
    We ask that you refrain from taking photos on your phone during the ceremony. We promise to provide you with photos as soon as we have them but prefer them to be taken by our photographer. Thanks!
  • What airport should I fly into?
    We recommend flying into Burlington, Hartford, or Boston. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us and ask questions.
  • Where should I rent a car?
    If you're looking to rent a car in Vermont, several reliable options are available. Major car rental companies like Hertz, Enterprise, and Budget have locations throughout the state, including at Burlington International Airport and in downtown Burlington.
  • How will I get from my hotel to the venue?
    We will be providing a shuttle to and from the hotel to Mad River Barn! Shuttle information will be provided to you when you get to your hotel.
  • What if it rains?
    If it is raining lightly, the ceremony will still be outside so bring a rain jacket / umbrella with you. In the case of heavy rain, the ceremony will be held inside at Mad River Barn.
  • What is the weather to be like?
    Vermont in September is unpredictable. It can possibly be very hot or a wave of cooler temperatures. Usually, temperatures will be in the 60/70s but keep checking the weather and prepare for everything!
  • What type of food will be served?

  • Will there be an open bar?
    There will be an open bar at cocktail hour and the reception! We be serving selections of beer and wine at both!
  • Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
    Yes! There is options for guests with dietary restrictions. Please reach out to either of us and let us know prior to your arrival so we can inform the catering staff.
  • Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
    It will be specified on your invitation if you are allowed a plus one!
  • Can I bring my child?
    As much as we love children, we are having a child-free wedding. If it does not specify on the invitation that your child is invited, we ask that you do not bring them.
